Ankle sprains
Ankle sprains occur generally through the rapid change of direction. They are notoriously dismissed by patients and healthcare professionals but in fact can lead to much greater problems in the future if not adequately rehabilitated

Back pain
A lot of patients suffer back problems due to poor working/lifestyle habits. These can develop further and become chronic if not treated appropriately. Though a large amount are easily solvable.

Rotator cuff injuries
Both young and older can develop rotator cuff injuries due to muscle imbalances and poor technique. Let us help you to recover fully from your injury and source any further help or investigation if needed.

Knee pain
We deal with lots of knee issues, including ligament tears, meniscus injuries and bursitis. Including those that have have orthopeadic involvement such as ACL repairs and knee replacements.

Neck pain
Neck pain can happen to us all. We can simply wake up having 'slept funny' or we might just find that are movement is getting less and less - come to us to help you get to the bottom of it and improve your neck health

Elbow pain
Physiotherapy can help with a large number of elbow issues. Elbow pain can come from a number of different sources, Tennis/Golfers elbow, dislocations, Cubital tunnel syndrome, Olecranon bursitis and distal bicep tendinopathies and tears

ME/CFS
Patients with these conditions need to be treated carefully by a physiotherapist. To understand that the patient is the expert with the condition. The patient's exercise tolerance is at the forefront of our minds. At Dr Zo The Physio we have treated a number of patients with these. condition, receiving comments such as "this is the first time I've actually felt listened to", "To not be told I just need to keep trying and build up tolerance is so refreshing"

Polymyalgia
Polymyalgia Rheumatic is an inflammatory autoimmune condition. When the patient has a flare up it is not typically one joint. It is a system wide inflammatory process, which needs to be managed carefully. Considerations for elements such as bone density due to steroid use and pacing to avoid flare ups. It is certainly not no pain no gain. The body needs to be gently encouraged to move to avoid flare ups but to help reduce stiffness.

Hypermobility/EDS
We have treated large number of patients with this issue and take careful consideration when prescribing exercises. This condition needs to be considered for the body as a whole, we are not just discussing a bit of extra mobility in a joint. It affects the body as a whole impacting on areas such as gastrointestinal systems and eyesight to name just a few.

Osteoarthritis
OA is a joint disease that happens when your protective cartilage wears away leaving you stiff and in pain. Physiotherapy has been shown to be a key component for treating this debilitating condition having a significant impact on pain and mobility.

Frozen shoulder
Frozen shoulder aka Adhesive capsulitis involves the joint capsule (the protective sleeve around your shoulder joint) becoming inflamed, thickened, and scarred, effectively "shrink-wrapping" the joint. Having a significant impact upon pain and range of movement. Physiotherapy can help guide you through this painful and debilitating condition

Post orthopedic rehabilitation
